The National Technology Centers for Networks and Pathways
A Resource for NIH supported Investigators
Integrating Proteomics with Cell Biology, Imaging and Modeling to Study Dynamic Systems
2007 All Hands Meeting
WHEN: March 1-2, 2007
WHERE: Lister Hill Auditorium, NIH Campus
The all-hands meeting provides an opportunity for investigators to update one another and NIH staff on their progress, and explore opportunities for interaction with other NIH investigators and programs.
The purposes of the National Technology Centers for Networks and Pathways are:
- To develop new technologies to study the dynamics of molecular interactions within cells
- To serve as a technical and intellectual resource for the biomedical research community, providing access to technology, software, reagents, and expertise.
These centers develop new proteomics methods, chemical probes, cellular and molecular imaging tools, and software for modeling and simulation of complex interactions, networks, and pathways. These technologies are integrated to study dynamic, living systems in ways that conventional proteomics approaches cannot. Understanding these dynamic interactions will shed light on the normal functions of molecular systems and their abnormal functions in disease.
Posters: NTCNP investigators, especially students and post-doctoral fellows, are encouraged to present a poster at the meeting. There will be a poster session at the Marriott Bethesda at Pooks Hill in the evening on March 1, 2007. Poster boards (4x8 feet) will be provided. When registering, please indicate that you will be presenting a poster, providing the title, authors, and institutional affiliations for inclusion in the conference program.
