The National Cancer Institute’s Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology is convening a Community Outreach Summit in Bethesda, Maryland to solicit ideas and input from senior decision makers in information technology, biopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals, academic research and Government communities. The caBIG™ (cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid™) Summit will provide a forum to identify and discuss the key opportunities, issues, and challenges that must be addressed to connect the data, institutions and people necessary to facilitate and accelerate cancer research.
