The discounted room rate at the hotel is $226 per night for single occupancy or $256 per night for double occupancy, plus applicable state and local taxes which are currently 14.5%.

Check-in time at the hotel is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Should you arrive early, the hotel will make every attempt to accommodate your check-in. However, if there are no rooms available upon your early arrival, your luggage will be stored until your room is available. Upon check-in you will be required to present a valid credit card to cover your accommodations and incidental charges during your stay.


Air Travel

Airports
Three major airports serve the Washington, DC area: Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA), Dulles International (IAD), and Baltimore/Washington International (BWI). The most convenient airport to the conference location is Reagan National, located approximately nine miles from the conference hotel in Washington, DC. Dulles airport is located approximately 25 miles from the hotel, and BWI airport is located approximately 33 miles from the hotel.

Train Travel

Amtrak service is available into Washington, DC via Union Station. Amtrak is a convenient option for many people who will be traveling from various points along the East Coast. To make Amtrak reservations, call (800) USA-RAIL or visit http://www.amtrak.com.

Ground Transportation

Washington, DC is served by a variety of ground transportation options. Below is a listing of several options for traveling from the airport or train station to the hotel. All estimated fares are one-way and per person unless otherwise specified.

Metro
The Washington Marriott Wardman Park is accessible via Washington, DC's Red Line Metro service and is located less than a block from the Woodley Park - Zoo/Adams Morgan Station stop. Upon arriving at the Woodley Park - Zoo/Adams Morgan stop, as you reach the top of the escalator when exiting the station, the back entrance to the hotel will be on the right at 2660 Woodley Road or walk 1/4 block North on Connecticut Avenue and turn left onto Woodley Road for front door access to the hotel. SuperShuttle
Shuttle service is available to the hotel for approximately $14 from Reagan National Airport (DCA), $29 from Dulles International Airport (IAD) and $37 from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI) using the SuperShuttle service. Shuttle reservations can be made by calling (800) BLUE-VAN or via the Internet at http://www.supershuttle.com. Reservations are required at least 12 hours in advance.

Taxi
Taxi stands are located near the baggage claims of all area airports and at the front entrance of Union Station. Approximate fares to the hotel are as follows: Reagan National - $17; Dulles - $65; BWI - $60; and Union Station - $10.

Parking
Parking at the hotel is $32 per day.


Driving Directions to the Hotel

From Route 50 West:
Take Route 50 to Route 66 East, following the signs to Washington, DC. Take the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (Route 50), staying in the center lanes. Route 50 then becomes Constitution Avenue. Continue East on Constitution Avenue for about 6 blocks and then turn left on 17th Street. This will turn into Connecticut Avenue. Continue on Connecticut Avenue for 1 mile. Cross over the William Taft Bridge. Make a left turn after the third light after the bridge onto Woodley Avenue. The Washington Marriott Wardman Park will be on the left.

From Richmond and I-95 North:
Take I-95 North to 395 North, following the signs for Washington, DC and Route 1 (The 14th Street Bridge). Cross the 14th Street Bridge over the Potomac staying in the left lanes. Take 14th Street North until you reach K Street, (about 14 blocks). Make a left on K Street and go 4 blocks to Connecticut Avenue. Make a right. Continue on Connecticut Avenue for 1 mile. Cross over the William Taft Bridge. Make a left turn after the third light after the bridge onto Woodley Avenue. The Washington Marriott Wardman Park will be on the left.

From Baltimore and I-95 South:
Take I-95 South following signs to Washington, DC. About 25 miles South of Baltimore, I-95 will merge with I-495 (The Beltway). Head towards Virginia on I-495 West, following signs for College Park and Silver Spring. Get off on Exit 33, Connecticut Avenue, and continue for about 6.5 miles. Turn right on Woodley Road. The Washington Marriott Wardman Park will be on the left.
