The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is pleased to welcome you to the Web site for the Garrett Lee Smith Campus Suicide Prevention Grantee Conference which will take place February 2–4, 2010 at the Doubletree Resort Orlando – International Drive in Orlando, Florida.

You should determine who among your program staff or collaborators will attend the meeting based upon your approved budget. However, campus grantees are required to send three representatives to the meeting, including the Project Director and Evaluator.

Important Participant Information

The meeting registration desk will open Monday, February 1 from 2–6 p.m. Registration will reopen Tuesday, February 2 at 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until 5:00 p.m. The Program Showcase room will be available for setup starting at 2:00 p.m. on February 1 and will remain open during conference registration hours.

For planning purposes, prepare to travel to Orlando at your convenience on February 1. Please make sure your return flight home from Orlando does not depart before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 4 so that you won’t miss the closing session.

Attendees will be able to register for the conference and reserve a hotel room online. To register online, refer to the Registration section of this Web site. The Hotel section of this Web site will give you basic information about the conference site and offer a direct link for hotel reservations at the special group rate. Keep in mind that hotel reservations must be made no later than January 8, 2010. For directions and other travel information, consult the Travel section of this Web site.
