TRAVEL INFORMATION

The Orlando International Airport (airport code MCO) is the 11^th busiest airport in the U.S. in terms of passengers. The airport offers non-stop service to 79 U.S. destinations via 900 flights a day through the 40 airlines that service the airport including such discount airlines as Air Tran, Jet Blue, and Southwest.

The Doubletree Orlando Resort-International Drive is located 10 miles from the airport. It’s about a 20-minute drive to the hotel from the airport which will cost you about $20 per person on one of the various shuttles or $35 by taxi regardless of the number of passengers.

If you are driving, there is normally a self-parking charge of $8 per day at the hotel. However, this charge will be waived for our meeting attendees. The use of rental cars while in Orlando must be authorized in advance by SAMHSA.

During our conference timeframe, the average high temperature is 71 degrees, while the average low is around 49 degrees.
