Presented by:
- Steven Schroeder, M.D., is a distinguished professor of health and health care within the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Medicine, where he also heads the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center. Dr. Schroeder has published extensively in the fields of clinical medicine, health care financing and organization, prevention, public health, the workforce, and tobacco control.
- Jonathan Foulds, Ph.D., is a professor of public health sciences and psychiatry at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. He has spent most of his career developing and evaluating methods to help smokers beat their addiction to tobacco. Dr. Foulds has published more than 80 papers on tobacco in peer-reviewed scientific journals and continues to treat addicted smokers, teach on smoking cessation, and conduct research on tobacco and health at Penn State College of Medicine.
- Meghan Caughey, M.A., M.F.A., is the senior director of Peer and Wellness Services for Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare in Portland, OR, a multi-county, non-profit community mental health provider. She was a founder of the Oregon Tobacco Freedom Initiative, in which she worked with Oregon's Public Health department on the creation and implementation of policy and tobacco cessation programs for persons with mental health challenges.
